Chinese President Xi Jinping has met with his Russian counterpart President Vladimir Putin in Beijing. After talks, the leaders issued a joint statement and witnessed a signing ceremony for more than 30 trade deals. Both sides have vowed to deepen their comprehensive strategic partnership to strengthen ties between two nations that remain “partners, but not allies.” What’s at stake?
