A Syrian warplane crashed into a busy marketplace of Ariha town in northwest Idlib province on Monday, killing at least 27 people. Many injuries are reported. Witnesses said the military plane had dropped a bomb in the heart of the city centre’s main commercial street. The Observatory said the jet was not shot down. There was no immediate reaction from the Syrian Army.
