DPRK sentences American to 10 years hard labor

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Friday sentenced a Korean American to 10 years of hard labor. Kim Dong Chul, aged 62, was arrested in October last year and charged with espionage. It’s the latest case of a foreigner being convicted in Pyongyang, after US student Otto Warmbier was sentenced to 15 years of hard labor for crimes against the state in March this year.
