DPRK vows to strengthen war-deterrence after Japan enacts new security law

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea said on Monday that it will increase its war deterrence efforts, after the move by Japan to alter its pacifist constitution. Japan’s parliament early on Saturday morning passed 11 security bills that will allow the country’s Self-Defense Forces to fight alongside its allies even if Japan is not under attack.
