Duterte: Philippines to end joint military exercises with the US

President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte has said that his country’s upcoming joint military exercise with the United States will be the last between the two allies. Starting on Monday, the Philippine military and US Marines are due to hold nine days of exercises north of the Philippines’ largest island Luzon. Duterte has also ruled out any future joint naval patrols with Washington.
