East Africa region to reduce tourism costs

Tourism players in the East Africa region are set to conduct a price competitiveness survey in a bid to ensure uniformity of prices across the region.

The survey is mandated to inform how the five countries namely Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania and Burundi will develop, design and price products.

It aims to bring down the costs of tourism products within the region to increase their attractiveness both at home and abroad.
