Ecuador said Wednesday that it will allow Sweden to interview Wikileaks founder Julian Assange at their embassy in London, but no date for the interview was announced. The interview will mainly center around the 2010 rape allegations made against Assange. According to the statement, Ecuador will also set up a meeting in the coming weeks with Sweden to talk about further details. The 45-year-old Australian sought refuge in Ecuador’s embassy in London in June 2012 after exhausting all his legal options in Britain against extradition to Sweden.
