Two trucks carrying the remains of victims left St Petersburg’s Pulkovo airport, shortly after arriving in Russia on Monday. The bodies are expected to go to a mortuary for identification. Egypt had earlier said the remains of 162 people would be flown back, out of 214 Russian passengers said to have been on the flight, along with three Ukrainians and seven crew members.
