Egypt to send voice data of crashed Russian plane abroad for analysis

Egypt’s civil aviation minister told media that the last seven seconds of the cockpit voice recording from the crashed Russian airliner will be sent abroad for analysis.

Last week, an Egyptian-led investigative committee said a suspicious noise was heard in the last second of the recording.

The 18-year-old airliner was manufactured in Germany, while its engine was made in the United States.
