The hijacker of the EgyptAir flight appeared in a Cyprus court on Wednesday. Egyptian Seif al Din Mustafa will face multiple charges. He told police he hijacked the plane, because he wanted to see his estranged wife and children. Egypt’s public prosecutor has asked Cypriot authorities to hand over Mustafa, but a Cyprus government official said any talk of extradition right now was premature.
