French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault said in a press conference on Saturday that all possible causes behind the EgyptAir plane crash are being looked into, after meeting with around 100 relatives of the 66 people onboard, including 30 Egyptians and 15 French. The plane left Paris for Cairo and crashed into the Mediterranean on Thursday. Investigators say the plane sent a series of signals indicating smoke was detected in multiple sections of the aircraft before it crashed, but the cause remains unclear. A search operation is underway in an area covering a 64-kilometer radius in the Mediterranean, with countries including Greece, France, the UK, Cyprus and Italy joining the search.
