Ethiopia battles malaria by educating people living near water

Many African countries are building dams and hydropower projects to boost national GDP, but there is a downside. Still lakes and reservoirs create perfect breeding grounds for mosquitos that spread malaria. Ethiopia is implementing stringent measures to increase awareness of the disease, to reduce cases of malaria around its dams and large water projects. CCTV’s Coletta Wanjohi has the story.
