Foreign ministers from the six founding countries of the EU have met in Berlin to push for a speedy exit for Britain, following the referendum vote for a Brexit. German Foreign Minister Frank Walter Steinmeier said the founding states of Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg and the Netherlands want Britain to begin the process of leaving the union “as soon as possible.” He said British Prime Minister David Cameron had launched the referendum in the UK, and “he must now live with the consequences”.
