EU leaders defend disputed deal with Turkey

Germany’s Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier defended the controversial migrant-exchange deal between the EU and Turkey, saying time will tell how effective the plan is. Meanwhile, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan lashed out on European leaders for not taking enough asylum-seeking Syrians, saying EU nations were wealthier than Turkey but still did nothing to help.
