England and Russia soccer fans were involved in violent clashes before and after their Euro 2016 match on Saturday, leaving at least 30 people injured. A Marseille court has convicted six English fans, handing down prison sentences ranging from one to three months to five of them for their involvement in rioting. The swift sentencing appears to be sending a message to potential hooligans that violence will not be tolerated during the rest of the tournament.
