Hyperloop is a system for the high-speed transportation of passengers and goods in tubes. Using linear induction motors and air compressors, it offers inexpensive and safe transport. For example, using Hyperloop, passengers would travel at an average speed of around 970 kilometers per hour, with possible top speed reaching 1,200 kilometers per hour. During the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, CCTV’s Tian Wei spoke to Dirk Ahlborn, the CEO of Hyperloop, who explained how the system is different and how it has an environmental conscience.
