FIFA’s new President, Gianni Infantino, has been in Moscow to inspect some of the stadiums which will host matches at the 2018 World Cup. The trip comes less than two months after his election as the head of football’s world governing body, and in the face of lingering accusations by critics, that the organization’s previous leaders may have acted improperly during the bidding process that awarded the tournament to Russia.
