Chinese retail investors are flocking to automated advice and trading programs, so-called robo-advisors, through financial institutions as the rise of technology in banking and finance seems unstoppable. The robo-advisors provide financial advice to individual investors, and build personalized asset allocation strategies at very low fees. But as CCTV’s Martina Fuchs reports, the approach is not without risks.
