Firefighters catch 2.7-meter-long python in a city in Yunnan province

A wild python was caught by firefighters after it was spotted climbing on a tree in the urban regions of Yuanyang county in southwest China’s Yunnan Province recently. The python is 2.7 meters long and weighs 15 kilograms. The firefighters then set the creature free in a rural forest outside the county.
