Firefighters in Yingcheng city, central China’s Hubei Province, rescued 155 residents who were trapped due to heavy rainstorms and flooding on Thursday. They were seen rescuing people using boats. The firefighters even formed human ladders, letting the residents step on their shoulders to ensure a gentle landing. The trapped villagers, including a pregnant woman, children and an 80-year-old resident, were all rescued unharmed in a 15-hour rescue operation.
