Five former Japanese leaders slam Abe’s move

Five former Japanese prime ministers demanded that Prime Minister Shinzo Abe immediately withdraw the new security bills. The former leaders, Morihiro Hosokawa, Tsutomu Hata, Tomiichi Murayama, Yukio Hatoyama, and Naoto Kan, all oppose the new bills which will allow Japanese troops to fight abroad for the first time since World War II.
