Flood-trapped pigs rescued in E China

Workers are trying to save about 3,000 pigs in a pig farm, which was inundated by rain-triggered floods in east China’s Anhui Province.
Water level in the farm has reached about one meter, forcing people to transfer the pigs by hand to vehicles waiting outside.
Owners of the farm had called for help when heavy rains began to pound the area earlier this week as they failed to evacuate the pigs to safe places by themselves.
