Foreign ministers from China, Japan and South Korea met today in Tokyo to discuss closer multilateral cooperation. The talks took place against a backdrop of tension between the three countries and regionally. The meeting took place just hours after the DPRK fired another ballistic missile from a submarine positioned off its eastern coast. The foreign ministers agreed to urge the DPRK to refrain from provocative actions and to follow UN Security Council resolutions.
