FMs of SE Asia vow to ensure freedom of licit nav. & flyover in S China Sea

The 48th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting discussed matters relating to the South China Sea, and foreign ministers of the 10 Southeast Asian countries pledged to maintain peace, security and stability in the region.

Malaysian Foreign Minister said quote: “The declaration raised during this meetings relating to South China Sea were, one, the importance of maintaining peace, security and stability, as well as ensurence freedom of navigation in and both fly over South China Sea.”
