Paper cutting, egg carving and embroidery… folk artists in the northwest Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, are showing their best craftsmanship to mark the 66th founding anniversary of the new China.
Fu Zhao’e is working on a paper cutting artwork featuring local culture.
She has made tens of thousands of art pieces over the past 40 years.

Twenty-six-year-old Li siyuan has been practising egg carving for nearly 10 years.
He is carving on an egg shell with graphics of blessing.
