A female Siberian tiger gave birth to two cubs early Sunday at the Siberian Tiger Park in Harbin city of northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province. Breeders said Siberian tigers usually give birth to two to four cubs with a low survival rate. But both of the tiger cubs are said to be in good health. Siberian tigers are among the world’s most endangered species. Less than 500 Siberian tigers are believed to survive in the wild, with an estimated 18 to 22 in China’s Heilongjiang and Jilin provinces.
