Former Israeli president Peres leaves hospital after heart surgery

Former Israeli president and Nobel Peace Prize winner Shimon Peres left hospital on Tuesday, five days after undergoing surgery for heart trouble. He said that he was keen to get back to work. The 92-year-old is the founder of the Peres Peace Center and still active in Israeli and international affairs. He was hospitalized last Thursday, after experiencing chest pains.
