Former Philippine Solicitor General suggests suspending S. China Sea arbitration case against China

How the Philippines’ incoming president handles the South China Sea row is seen as critical to his country’s relations with China. Former Philippine Solicitor General Estelito Mendoza, and maritime law expert, has advised the government to suspend arbitration proceedings filed with the UN over the territorial dispute with China. He explained why this was a good idea.
