Four Myanmar soldiers have been killed in fighting between government troops and 300 armed men in the western Rakhine state, near the country’s border with Bangladesh. The government troops were targeted while clearing the area, following an attack on three border posts by the men at midnight Saturday, with nine police officers killed and five others injured. Four attackers were arrested and are currently being questioned. They were reportedly equipped with pistols, swords and knives.
