France beefs up security for climate summit

France is already at a high alert level for terrorism. And so it’s planning more security for the upcoming climate summit in Paris next week.
The government announced on Wednesday it would deploy 8,000 police and gendarmes across the country to secure France’s borders.
An additional 2,800 units will also be deployed to secure Le Bourget where the UN conference on climate change will be held.
