French Prime Minister Manuel Valls has warned of possible new terrorist attacks in France. French police stopped at least two terrorist attacks from taking place in Paris last week, including the discovery of a car loaded with gas cylinders near Notre Dame Cathedral. Valls said around 15,000 suspected radicals living in France had been put on a terror watch list. He also questioned the hardline proposals laid out by 2017 presidential candidate Nicolas Sarkozy to boost security, describing them as not the right way to deal with potential threats.
