Geeta Returned INDIA | Warm Welcomed at Delhi Airport

Geeta, a specially-abled Indian woman who accidentally crossed over the border to the Pakistani side, today returned home to a rousing welcome. Officials from the Indian Ministry of External affairs, members of her Indian family and Pakistan High Commission officials were present at the Delhi International airport to welcome Geeta. Geeta, now 23, was reportedly just 7 or 8 years old when she was found sitting alone on the Samjhauta Express by Pakistani Rangers . She was adopted by Bilquees Edhi and lived with her in Karachi. Geeta has identified her family through a photograph sent to her by the Indian High Commission in Islamabad.
