Geminid meteor shower lights up northern China’s night

The Geminid meteor shower was seen in northeast China from 22:00 Mon. till dawn on Tue.. As chilly winds drove away smog, people in northern China braved the cold to observe the annual celestial event, which peaked at 2:00am with 120 meteors per hour. Every year, the Geminid meteor shower punctually lights up the sky in December.
