German explosion left one dead, 11 injured

One person has been killed and 11 others have been injured by an explosion at a bar in southern German late Sunday evening. The explosion took place in downtown Ansbach, 40 km southwest of Nuremberg. The mayor of Ansbach said that the blast was caused by an explosive device, prompting the evacuation of more than 2,000 people from a nearby music festival. Police said in a statement that the suspect who set off the blast was killed in the event.
