German police said on Friday that they received a tip hours before midnight that militants from Iraq and Syria were planning attacks in Munich. But Police Chief Hubertus Andrae says police have been unable to find the suspects and are not even sure if they are in Germany. Andrae told a news conference that German officials had received a “very concrete” tip that suicide attacks were planned at Munich’s train stations at midnight. He also said police didn’t know if the potential attackers were in Munich or anywhere else in Germany.
