Ghanas’s Foreign Minister: looking forward to stronger ties with China

Ghana’s Foreign Minister Hanna Serwah Tetteh on Thursday said her country looked forward to an even stronger relationship with China in the coming years, as the two sides mark 55 years of the establishment of diplomatic ties this year.

Speaking in an interview with New China TV, Tetteh said over the years of cooperation, Ghana had, through its relationship with China, secured a number of investments and key projects and some level of private investments.

Ghana, she noted, had also had access to finance for facilities that have been key to the growth of Ghana’s economic infrastructure and development.

She believes that those projects are physically there for the world to see like the gas pipeline at Atuabo and the Bui hydro power dam.
