Google’s AI still far from outsmarting human even if it conquers Go?

Google’s computer program AlphaGo on Thursday defeated Lee Sedol, the world champion of the ancient Chinese board game, taking a 2-0 lead.

An AI researcher told Xinhua that the average performance of the computer is higher than the level of the human, and therefore the machine will continue to win almost all of the time.

Despite Go is much more complicated than chess, experts say none of these milestones have so far led to a truly intelligent system that are similar to human intelligence and behavior.
