Govt Should Check The Facilities In The Hospitals Says Dr Pandey

Dr. Pandey of Batra hospital while speaking to TIMES NOW in the light of the seven year old child who died of dengue said that it is time government must take notice of the facilities in the hospitals. “This child (Avinash) was having fever for the past three to four days. And the parents were doing what was required. It was around 2pm that the child became sick. Luckily we had only one bed available just before the child came in,” said Pandey The doctor added that the parents must realise that when there are less than one lack platelets you must admit the child. “But where do we admit the child, where are the beds available to admit the child? We are refusing because we don’t have the beds, we can’t treat children on the floor,” said the doctor Avinash, a seven year old child died of dengue after allegedly being denied admission at two prominent private hospitals. The parents of the child too, later committed suicide. Finally it was Batra hospital that admitted the child where he died.
