Guangxi border guards seize 102 pieces of python skins

Border guards in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region recently seized 102 pieces of python skins and arrested one person for attempting to smuggle them. Pythons are protected under Chinese laws and have been listed in the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). The case has been handed over to the local forest public security department for further investigation.
