Heavy rain is causing trouble elsewhere in the world, from the United States to Europe. Storms in the southeastern and central United States subsided on Sunday as tropical storm Bonnie was downgraded to a tropical depression, but still caused major flooding in the South. Four people have been reported dead in Texas, while two are missing. In Germany, violent flooding in the southwestern state of Baden-Wurttemberg claimed four lives, and over in Paris, the French Open suffered its first complete washout since 2000 on Monday.
