How should China’s Confucius Institutes cater to foreigners’ needs?

Poetry, painting, medicine, and even tea are among the Chinese cultural gifts foreigners are keen to enjoy. But the Confucius Institutes should innovate to better meet foreign needs, according to Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong. She made the remarks while addressing the 10th Confucius Institute Conference in Shanghai, which has just concluded.
