A steamed bun with a diameter of 2.57 meters stunned onlookers on Friday at the ongoing International Food Festival in northern China’s Qinhuangdao city, Hebei Province. The huge bun, claiming to be the largest in the world, weighs an astonishing 1,367 kilograms and hides 7000 “baby buns” inside it. To accomplish this work, a team of 25 cooks worked 13 hours and used 867 kilograms of wheat powder and 500 kilograms of stuffing. However, it was not to be wasted. 3000 visitors at the festival had the joy of sharing the mega bun, which was said to be delicious by many of them.
