Hundreds line up to snap Apple goods in its 26th new store in China

Hundreds of people line up overnight to be the first to plow through the doors of Apple shop in northeast China’s Shenyang, as a tradition for the popular U.S. brand opening a new store.

“I know this is the second Apple store in Shenyang, but I still waited here for one night to experience the joyful atmosphere.”

Sales in China in the most recent quarter nearly doubled from the same quarter in the prior year. And the iPhone continued to see record sales.

The company has planned to expand its stores in China to 40 by the end of this year.
