IAS topper Shah Faesal quits service, slams ‘Unabated killings’ | India Upfront

On the debate tonight, 10 years ago Shah Faesal became a symbol of the Kashmir which stood for peace amidst a dark cloud of terror and violence. Now a decade after he topped the IAS exam, the same youth icon is chosen to quit the service in protest against what he calls unabated killings in the State and lack of political initiative by the Modi government to resolve the Kashmir crisis. Faesal blamed Hindutva forces for marginalising Muslims when himself failed to comment infact on the Islamic terror that is bleeding Kashmir dry. Watch for more details!
