Iceland’s new rightwing government is set to take office later on Thursday. New prime minister Sigurdur Ingi Johannsson was chosen Wednesday by his Progressive Party. He will replace Sigmundur David Gunnlaugsson, who resigned Tuesday amid mass protests over a hidden offshore account revealed in the so-called Panama Papers leak.
