IMF: Market volatility no reason for concern on China

The International Monetary Fund does not see recent market volatility as a reason to voice concern about China, or the Fund’s review to include the Chinese yuan into its Special Drawing Rights basket.
That’s according to IMF deputy spokesperson William Murray.
Murray said Thursday that the SDR review was still on track. The Fund will complete the review by the end of this year in accordance with IMF rules.
