The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has proposed a series of structural reforms to increase labor market participation and ease regulation on certain business sectors in a bid to boost economic growth. In its biannual World Economic Outlook, the IMF said these reforms could help lift potential output over the medium term and also strengthen consumer confidence in the near term.
