India launches massive search for missing military aircraft

Indian military has launched a massive search operation to locate an aircraft that went missing over the Bay of Bengal on Friday morning local time. The AN-32 aircraft with 29 people on board took off from Chennai city in southern India on a routine sortie to Port Blair. The plane disappeared about 300 km east of Chennai. Three aircrafts, several ships and a submarine have been deployed to search for the plane.
