Indian government says it can deal with the disease

Indian Health Minister J.P. Nadda says there is no need to panic over the rising number of Chikungunya cases in the capital New Delhi. He says proper arrangements are in place to tackle the disease. Thirteen people are reported to have died from Chikungunya in New Delhi this year. According to government data, 1,724 suspected cases of the mosquito-borne disease were reported in the city as of September 11.
