Indian PM urges water conservation during worst drought in decades

India is seeing one of the worst droughts in four decades with crops ravaged, livestock dying, and a depleting water supply across many parts of the country. Extreme temperatures have also added to the people’s plight, with over a hundred people feared dead due to heat-related deaths. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is urging his citizens to take serious water conservation measures.
